Chapter 3 : Pre E-12 incidents.

I’ve checked in few days the response of handful of readers of my blog has reduced anyway as everyone is waiting for something exciting. I was in hometown when I started with this blog now I’m in pune and thought some incidents that happened with some of my gang members n me we were in hostel. The first one was

Here it goes when I got my branch changed from IT to computer and now I also changed my place from private accommodation to college’s Hostel my today’s roomie – Bong was a very shy kind of person. He used to talk very fast and due to his fastness it was difficult to understand initially and used to sound rude so 1st impression was that he is a rude person (atleast to me). Now there was this person named A.D.S. brilliant person very sharp in studies but always naughtiness in his mind and Bong was victim of his naughtiness. Bong considered A.D.S. as a good student (he is but not sometimes for his fellow friends). He created a poll from all boys, he wrote name of 5 or 6 girls and almost all guy in our class voted and a girl NS won. ADS asked girls to carry out similar poll for guys but that didn’t happen now what Mr. ADS in company with Ravindranath Rao gets some result but Ravi suggested “Hey!!! I want that Bong should win" this poll so ADS randomly made a fake poll from girls side and made Bong win this poll now our bong has become a sexiest man in computer dept. initially he didn’t believe but due to good impression of ADS on Bong, bong believed. To make sure this poll happened. Me, Ravi, Jacko and ADS went to an attractive girl from our class and forcibly got a letter stating YES BONG IS A SEXY GUY IN OUR DEPT this letter was presented by ADS and Bong believed. Now we started one more fake story that all students in class will shell out 5 bucks from their pockets and the guy who won will take the girl who one out for a movie from the money collected. Our Bongie boy was in 7th heaven. He used to find the runner-up girl RD better than NS so he said Date pe jaunga to RD ke saath jaunga nahi to nahi jaunga. Now its time to thank the attractive girl who some how couldn’t win the poll. ……

Chapter 2 : When, Where n How we met?

First year when i came to pune for admission in Vishwakarma Institute of Technology in short VIT me n my dad searched lot of places on cot basis, private hostels and flats as VIT didn't had its own Hostel for one year i stayed with three guys Chandrakant Patil(pachora - jalgaon) in my room and Swapnil Khairnar and Lalit Sawant (again both from pachora). One year i lived with them at the end of 1st year we heard VIC (Vishwakarma International Center) or simply VIT Hostel is ready for possesion and after coming into second year I took admission to it.

As i Enter the hostel i saw guys playing cricket on 3rd floor of hostel(it is a 9 floor hostel) one of them was Ravi "YO" Rao. I got a room of three with one vacant partition and my room partner was MBA guy who left after a month or so. Here i met Akshat Mithal whom i knew from 1st year as his Uncle and My dad used work in same company when we used to live in meerut. Few days passed and me n Ravi became friends as we both were in IT and changed branch to Computers, sometime later I met Roshan and Piyush on Ganpati festival which was arranged by Roshan and Abhijeet Band(Ravi's room partner). Even Jacko became my friend as he used to live near Ravi's room. It was our mid-sem exam and our Hero Bongie went to Surat at his sister's place for Rakshabandhan and he called Akshat and talked to me about the exam till then i knew bong by face but after he arrived from surat we started talking and became friends. As it was our Hostel's first year no proper food, no water and regular Electricity cuts. One day it was raining and lights went off and everyone came into corridors I met chacha when he was telling this "Mohabaatien" parody. I became his big fan because of his Ultimate funny jokes and parody. Later, after 1st semester i shifted with Bongie and Akshat as their third room partner kabi left. Roshan was 2 room away ravi was one room below and Jacko was near Ravi. I knew mannu also but not much conversation was there sometimes Hi Hello kinds...Ani was from diploma and used to live with his diploma friends Hardik and Gaurav he used to come at hostel like as if he is visiting our appartment and used to get firing from our gaurd. So in short most of us met at VIC. Sagar still to come in our gang.

Chapter 1: Introduction

1st Rohit Agarwal : He is from lovely place named Siliguri most of you might be knowing and for those who don't know its a place near Darjeling, West Bengal. As he is from West Bengal he was named "Bangali" and later Bong, Bongie,...etc, etc. Wonderful room partner, friend, a teacher during all three years (coz i met him in 2nd year), who has great tolerance thats worth appreciating. further i'll just use Bong as his name. For your knowledge. Very good in studies n a technical person.

2nd Ravindranath (Ravi - in short) Rao : A total bombay "YO" boy. A very good friend of mine n Rohit and also others which are to be mentioned. A friend, a mentor, a guide, a teacher, ..... he is like this not only for me and rohit but many more.... Best in studies amongst all of us from Computer engineering. Good Acadamics, has good reputation in computer Dept. amazing comm. skills.


3rd Roshan Porwal : He is one of the best business oriented guy i met, A very good friend, partner for the business we were/are going to start, my BE project partner ... a lot to come...keep reading. He comes from Ichalkaranji - a small town near Kolhapur (Sorry roshan but ichie is small town). Ichalkaranji is very famous for all those who know about textiles in India - Yes it is. He has his own textile mill in ichie and he loves his hometown so he is named "ichie".


4th Shashank Singal : Brilliant guy from Electronics Dept. As he used to say he was an average guy during his 12th grade but due to his interest in electronics was among toppers in dept for some semesters. He was named as "Jacko" as he answered something related to Jacobian theorem in Mathematics during 1st Semester of Engg. Very few knew his name as shashank.


5th Amit Garg : Amit is our junior. Always in mood of humour this guy is different from all i know. Sharp but lazy (chacha no doubt u are lazy)...Yes his nickname is "Chacha" - History behind his name is he is actually a uncle of his batchmate by some far away relation...Indian relations you know ppl. Loves watching Hindi movies more than English and a BIG fan of Andaz apna apna. So can get a rough idea about this guy.


6th Animesh Dhar : Oh !!!! Sorry Animesh this is a mere co incidence. The only "dude" types in our gang. "Ani" is a Kashmiri Pandit who is everything apart from a pandit. But lemme tell you one thing he is our gangs History and Discovery Channel. Knows everyhting about Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Jewism, Tanks, Indian and Pakistani Millitary forces and what not... This guy comes next to Bangali in case of teasing he is teased a lot. Fair fellow in our group spends around 15-20 minutes for make-up after his Bath. lots more to come.

7th Akshat Mithal : A person i know whom i have seen studying the most and also enjoying the most at the same time. The only person who has more than one girlfriend but we donno even about one(as in never seen met or talked to- Yaar Akshat hum itne bhi bure nahi hai). Good in acads. He is from Meerut (U.P.) ... Yes a UP a ka bhaiya but now settled in Poona. Funny person to be with Because whenever we meet or talk on phone - he always asks - Aur kya maze chal rahe hain...... He was known as "Rice Plate king"



8th Piyush Goyal : Piyush is our junior. A person from Madhya Pradesh yes he lived almost all cities and towns of MP but Bhopal the most. Respects all his seniors. I can tell about him that he ranks second in make up, he takes a lot of care of his skin like girls .... but the only thing i never noticed is he going to a beauty parlour. Nice fellow in short.


9th Sagar Saraf : He is a nice friend of ours he was from Jalgaon Now settled in Poona. Very good helping guy in all times without any problem be it be studies or be it be other stuff like like getting a paan or a movie CD or a company for caoffee at midnight. Again a Good guy with good acads and has a descent rep in dept. Sometimes acts as a Pyscho also... yes there are few incidents sagar wait for them. Forgot to tell you his nickname is "DON"



10th Mrinal Agarwal : A new person in our gang. A person i know from junior batch was not with us in early two years but this is his 1st year with us yet we know quite enough to write. Btw he is also from Siliguri Oh but he is not called as bong. All call him "Mannu" thats his nickname friends..


10th About me : Myself Urvish Jain from Aurangabad. I have lot of nicknames viz. "Urvee-scruvee", ramta jogi, Ponchie (this one's latest). what else i think friends who 'll read this will leave some comments about me.

About Blog

E-12 Rockers : By the name what will you think.......Well i donno what you may... anyways this is the place where i live and after few days it will be where i used to live during my engineering years. This place has great importance in my life. Its mainly about 10-12 fellows (including me) who all are living n lived with me at E-12, Konark Gardens -The most memorable part of my engineering life.


Its quite a complicated to issue to arrange the events in chronological order but as far as possible i'll try to maintain. Before going for the main part there is in detail description about all main characters. I'll arrange the blogs in parts of chapters.


About E-12: An appartment with 1 Bed room, hall(living room) n kitchen flat in a descent Society in Bibwewadi (A place which is boring part of Poona but close to our college). Owned by Mr n Mrs Datar. very humble maharashtrian family.
